Cedar Farm

About the Place

A quiet farm retreat with glamping stays, animals, seasonal food and slow mornings close to nature.

Welcome to Our Cedar Farm Retreat in Connecticut

Escape to our serene 14-acre property where forest, open fields, gentle hills, and friendly animals create a peaceful haven just 15–20 minutes from the ocean at Westport Sherwood Island, Lake Mohegan in Fairfield, and only 8 minutes from our Bethel location with a local lake for fishing and kayaking.

Stay in one of our spacious glamping tents and relax in our Cedar Farm retreat.

Wake each morning to birdsong and the scent of flowers or forest mushrooms in the air. It’s a magical place we believe you will remember for a long time.

Upon request, enjoy a nourishing breakfast, brunch, or dinner prepared with our homemade butter, sourdough bread, fresh eggs, cheeses, and pancakes (gluten-free or buckwheat), plus seasonal delights. The menu varies depending on what we are preparing that day for our own family. Additional fee applies.

Wander through our organic garden, gather free-range eggs, sip fresh goat milk, and forage for wild berries, nuts, figs, wild ramson (March–April), and seasonal forest herbs.

Children can play freely in our natural play area with organic sand, a treehouse, and small adventure zones, while adults relax with a river-stone foot bath and the scent of cedar. A gentle creek is just a short walk away.

Our land is shared with friendly animals including goats, ducks, rabbits, geese, heritage-breed chickens, peacocks, pigs, cats, and dogs.

One dog is included. Additional dogs may require an extra fee.

Breakfast or brunch is optional and available by request (fee per person).

All walking children ages 2–12 must be counted as guests. Infants are free. Firewood is available for purchase.

Please note that this is a working farm with animals, so you may occasionally hear natural farm sounds such as peacocks or geese.
